Agency Brief — Free Edition #5

The weekly brief on AI tools for small agencies · Week of November 2, 2026

One ad-testing launch that helps a small team produce more creative variants for client accounts. Four more calls are in the paid issue.

1.Runway Ads: TRY (agencies running paid social or ads for clients)

What changed: On October 27, 2026, Runway made Runway Ads generally available. It is included with every paid Runway plan. On Enterprise, admins turn it on per workspace in Organization Settings. It connects Meta, Google and TikTok ad accounts into one dashboard that shows cost per result, and Runway says more platforms are coming "in the coming weeks" (Runway).

From an ad that already works, it generates on-brand variants that change one variable at a time, and it can localize and resize them. It drafts a brand kit from your website or uploaded guidelines. Every ad needs team approval before it publishes to the connected accounts. Runway says its own weekly ad volume went "from under 100 to roughly 1,000 with the same team, while cutting our cost per subscriber by 41%." That's a company claim about its own account (Runway).

Why it matters: Small agencies struggle to produce enough creative variants to test properly. This is a paid-plan feature at no extra cost, with an approval step before anything goes live, which is what you need when it's a client's ad account.

Do this week: On a paid Runway seat, connect one low-risk account, such as your own agency's or a test account. Have it vary one variable (hook or opener) on a proven ad and compare cost per result against your usual process. Don't connect client accounts until you've confirmed who can approve.
